Classes To Give You A Head Start

If you choose to parent your child, Alpha Women’s Resource Center offers various classes to assist you. Our goal is to make you the most successful parent you can be.

Women of Worth

The Women of Worth program emphasizes character building and making positive changes to give each woman a healthy future. Women learn that their true worth comes not from relationships, successes, or beauty but from Christ. Women attend the program and earn “money” to shop at the Women of Worth Boutique for grooming items, jewelry, and stationery.

Earn While You Learn

This is a customized series on topics ranging from prenatal care to child care for children up to age two. Classes fall under a range of topics including: Pregnancy and Birth Classes, First-Year Care Classes, Toddler, Parenting, Practical Skills, and Fatherhood.

A personalized study plan helps parents learn how to raise healthy, happy children. Relationship skills, understanding basic household tasks, financial classes on using a checkbook, and how to get the most out of your grocery dollars are also included.

For each completed lesson, “mommy money” and “daddy money” is earned and can be used to redeem baby items offered in the center’s baby store. These items range from diapers and toiletries to clothing, cribs, car seats, and strollers.
