Preparation is Key
Though some things you can’t control, you can control what you do right now. Preparing mentally and physically is key for a smoother birth experience.
For medical advice, be sure to consult your doctor. For birthing advice, talk to your OBGYN, your doula, or your midwife for advice and support.
You Are Not Alone
Birth can be a scary word for women because no birth is the same experience for everyone. We at Alpha Women’s Resource Center offer multiple classes to help you if you decide to parent.
Parenting and birth are not easy, but they bring a unique joy only mothers and fathers can experience in this life.
Free Labor & Delivery Classes
We offer a free one-day class with our registered nurse to clients who are at least 24 weeks pregnant. The class covers topics covered in the third trimester of pregnancy through the postpartum period. You can bring your partner to the class as well!
Once completed, our mothers receive one of the following gifts:
Front/rear car seat
- Bouncer seat
- Or a baby tub set
Another class we offer to mothers is our free breastfeeding classes, which are scheduled individually with the mom before childbirth. After childbirth, mothers can meet with the nurse for continued support until they are six (6) weeks postpartum.
